What the Hyperbaric oxygen therapy means

The hyperbaric oxygen treatment is a process in which people breath in one hundred percent of medical oxygen in hyperbaric chamber, under higher pressure than the atmospheric.

This allows transport of increased volume of oxygen through blood and blood plasma up to the cell. In this way the cell receives multiple quantity of oxygen than that  usually transported in a conventional way through the hemoglobin.

How does the oxygen therapy act?

The air we breath in contains 21% oxygen of atmospheric pressure of 760mm mercury column. When we breath in pure oxygen at a level  higher than the atmospheric pressure, “the hyperbaric”   oxygen diluted in the blood and blood plasma of the human body nourishes each cell. This additional oxygen enters in the zones poor with oxygen caused by wounds or chronic problems and disorders  creating conditions for faster and more efficient  recovery and cure.

The hyperbaric oxygen treatment efficiency has been confirmed in various medical situations, both in the primary health care and as additional therapy during administering antibiotics, for wounds or after surgical interventions.
